The Vest that Never Ends is Complete

Absolutely giddy. That's how I felt yesterday when I finished the border and reinforced the arm holes of my circular vest. The Finnish 2+2 stitch knotwork border sucked up yarn so fast! I had to go buy more of the blue yarn.  Much to do today, so I'll keep the post short.

  1. Hi! I love this vest! I want to make one myself, but I have a question. How do you keep the circle flat? Do you increase every circle by putting 2 stitches in one? Do you start with a magical ring? How much yarn do you need (ruffled edge excluded)? I hope you can give me some advice.

    1. - My project notes are on ravelry - http://www.ravelry.com/projects/cloudlakes/pinwheel-sweater with info on the yarn I used and the stitch.
      - I *think* I used 2 skeins of each color + 1 some of 1 extra blue for the edge
      - I used this crochet pattern for the starting number of stitches, the increases, and the arm hole placement - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pinwheel-sweater

      Hopefully that's of help!
